How to use grief to erase hate
We had a mission to end hate...
A couple nights ago my good friend and video producer lost his life after receiving hateful gay remarks.
It’s hard to believe the kind of hate he experienced still exists in the world. But it does...
And you know what? My natural instinct was to send hate back.
Until I called his husband and asked, “What can I do? How can I help!?”
All he said was, “Honor what he stood for.”
It hit me hard. Cause he stood for love.
In fact, our first video together was of his wedding celebrating same sex marriage and how we can all find understanding in decisions that we may not agree with or understand. Who knew that very message would so relevant.
This was the video....
So now, I’m honoring him in a different way. Standing up for what he stood for in this podcast. Listen below...
How do you erase hate? How do you deal with grief in your life?
You don’t hate, you educate.
